LIU students have been nourishing from the university library for five years. Today, the library is considered one of the most important information centers at the university. Over eight thousand resources from references and text books for all majors are available to assist schools research and students’ studies. The book sections are classified into, Arts, Sciences, Business, Engineering, Pharmacy and Medicine.

For the rules and regulations the library follows strict procedures regarding borrowing text books for students and instructors from different faculties:

• Registered and alumni students with their ID can benefit from the library.
• The librarian will document the date of borrowing and set a specific date to return the text book ( maximum 2 weeks )
• If the student did not respect the deadline for returning the book , a block will be set on his banner
• If the instructor did not respect the deadline for returning the book and exceeded more than one semester, the librarian will refer to his school.

In addition of borrowing books, the students and instructors can also come and use the references, where a much quite environment is also offered.

Also, the students can benefit from the library resources from home by using the E databases EBSCO (the Academic search premiere) through his UMS account. With a very easy procedure, the student or the researcher can retrieve full PDF articles.

All in all, the LIU library plays important role in raising the academic standard of the students and faculty by updating all the resources and maintaining a helpful environment that aid into studying and motivation.
