The Lebanese International University and the British Council in Lebanon signed a new strategic partnership on Thursday, May 19, 2016 during Beirut’s 5th Education Day. This in line was a form of commitment to work on enhancing LIU’s testing and professional development all while cementing the notion of IELTS and APTIS English Language Exams and exploring international higher education opportunities by the UK higher education sector. The partnership was endorsed by LIU’s Vice President, Dr. Samir Abou Nassif, and Director of the British Council in Lebanon, Ms. Dona McGowen, all under the patronage of the UK ambassador to Lebanon, Mr. Hugo Shorter.
