The Lebanese International University- Bekaa campus received on the 29th of June 2017 Boecker company known in Lebanon and the Middle East for its services in food safety.
Boecker, represented by Ms. Rachel Elias, delivered a training about the HACCP system (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), one of the internationally recognized systems for reducing the risk of safety hazards in food. The training was attended by 13 Nutrition students and was held over two consecutive days. Boecker provided the students with the required material. At the end of the training, the participants completed a written exam to assess their knowledge and all of them passed, 50% with merit.
Certificates of training completion were delivered by Boecker to all the participants in a convivial ceremony held at LIU.
This was the second HACCP training at LIU Bekaa and one of a series of trainings that aim at improving our students' knowledge and professional experience and to offer them wider range of opportunities in the future.
