The School of Arts & Sciences (Nutrition Department) at LIU Saida organized an event entitled “Healthy and Tasty is our Game”. The aim of this bake sale activity was to encourage the consumption of low calorie and nutrient dense snacks, sweets and desserts, while returning the revenues to the “Orphan Welfare Society Saida”.
During the event, the desserts, snacks and juices were displayed on three stands. (Low calorie cakes)These cakes were baked using substitutes for high calorie produce. (cakes were made of vegetables), (desserts that are usually consumed during Ramadan),( juices and low calorie snacks)
