Empowering our Students

BIU has signed a cooperation agreement with Development for People and Nature Association (DPNA), which aims at empowering students with the needed skills to be effective in the workplace through the Employability Skills program (ESP).

The signing took place on Monday, August 7, 2017, in the presence of Mr. Rami Shamma, program manager at DPNA (who signed on the behalf of Mr. Fadlallah Hassouna, DPNA President) and Dr. Farid Abdallah, Dean of the School of Business (who signed on the behalf of BIU) and Ms. Farah Khattab, ESP program coordinator.

Established in 2003, DPNA is a non-governmental independent, grassroots-led organization based in Lebanon which promotes sustainable development for people and place. DPNA focuses on socio-economic development and youth capacity building as a first pillar of intervention.
