LIU is currently engaged in 14 international projects distributed among the 5 schools of Arts and Science (3), Business (2), Education (4), Engineering (2), and Pharmacy (3).

International Credit Mobility has seen relatively good engagement of 18 Instructors, staff and students at LIU distributed among schools of Education (10), Engineering (6), and Pharmacy (2) respectively.

As part of mobility as well, LIU PhD co supervision among the following schools Education (2), Engineering (21),

To further enhance outreach, LIU is involved in 21 memoranda of Understandings distributed among the 5 schools of Arts and Science (6), Business (2), Education (7), Engineering (6), and Pharmacy (1).

To summarize, LIU has effectively demonstrated Sustainable Development Goals among stakeholders to provide strong outreach partnership that affects its purpose and direction among the 5 schools (55).

  1. Lebanese International University (LIU) Tempus Project: Advanced Training and Lifelong Learning Program in Applied Health Sciences

    1. Details: Advanced Training and life Long learning Program in Applied Medical and Health Sciences focused on innovative training methods for the improvement of accountability, quality and safety of professionals working in the area of applied medical and health sciences. The purpose of the project is to jointly reform and modernize a flexible inter-disciplinary training and professional life long program and diploma (LTP) in applied health sciences. A flexible training and diploma will be issued by the partner institutions offering the integrated study program. It is a Lifelong Learning Program to enable people at all stages of their lives to take part in stimulating learning experiences and helping to develop strong institutional and individua capacity building across Sothern Neighboring Area (ENPI South).

  2. Lebanese International University (LIU) RESCUE,Refugees Education Support in MENA Countries

    1. Details: The main specific objective of RESCUE is to help the Partner Country Universities in structuring an effective response to this problem, by creating ad hoc units (the Refugee Student Operational Support Unit – R-SOS), whose mission is to structure specific services supporting the refugee students in resuming their academic training path. The analysis carried out by the target Universities has shown that each one of them has different approaches and constraints vis-à-vis this problem, therefore ad hoc solutions must be implemented in each one of them.

  3. Lebanese International University (LIU) Erasmus+COMMO – COoperation in the Southern Mediterranean and Western Balkan countries through MObility of students and staff International Credit Mobility

    1. Details: To implement and be committed to respect the quality requirements of the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education in all aspects of the organization and management of the mobility, in particular the recognition of the credits (or equivalent) awarded to students by the partner institution. The institutions also commit to sound and transparent management of funds allocated to them through Erasmus+.

    1. Details: The project ‘Reshaping Attention and Inclusion Strategies for Distinctively vulnerable people among the forcibly displaced’ (RAISD) aims at identifying highly Vulnerable Groups (VG) among these forcibly displaced people, analyzing their specific needs, and finding suitable practices to address them.

  5. Lebanese International University (LIU) Erasmus+ Horizon DIGIHEALTH “Innovative Digital skills & teaching methods 4 effective health education in Lebanon & Syria”

    1. The specific objectives of the project are:
      Support Lebanese and Syrian HEIs in adopting and implementing effective new technologies of digital skills and learning methods for an active and collaborative learning.
      Develop the ability of academic staff at health disciplines in Lebanese and Syrian HEIs to employ modern pedagogical and didactical methodologies for innovative ICT teaching and learning settings.
      Open up higher education in Lebanon and Syria to integrate refugees, IDPs and students from disadvantaged groups including women and rural areas inhabitants in inclusive virtual classroom settings.
