 LIU's academic work is formulated in modules of subject matter referred to as courses. Each Course has a scheduled instructional time each semester with additional laboratory, field exercise, and homework. |
 LIU has a number of different transfer and study abroad programs that give you the opportunity to be exposed to a new culture, lifestyle, and different academic experience. |
 To complete the freshman program, each student must complete at least 30 credits in Freshman Arts, Freshman Sciences, or Freshman Engineering |
 The tuition fees of LIU are calculated according to the number of credits. All additional education expenses such as social security fees, registration fees, and books, will not be included within the credit price. |
 LIU has nine campuses at different locations in Lebanon: Beirut, Bekaa, Saida, Nabatieh, Tripoli, Mount Lebanon, Tyre, Rayak, and Akkar with three campuses abroad in Yemen, Senegal, and Mauritania. |

December 9, 2025On Tuesday December 9, 2025, The Business Management school, Management Information System department at the Lebanese International University-Saida campus organized an exceptional and enriching session on career growth strategies. Mr. Mohammad Sakr and Mr. Chady Ossairan both spoke, shedding light on the impact of digital transformation and the increasing demand for technical skills, emphasizing the importance of knowledge in data science, artificial intelligence, and security.
They also highlighted the importance of setting priorities and professional goals using the 20/80 rule, building a high-value résumé that reflects achievements and reality. The attendees participated in discussions focused on identifying strengths and weaknesses, as well as the importance of balance between communication skills, soft skills, and critical thinking.
Mr. Ossairan concluded with a practical action plan that encourages continuous learning, flexibility, and readiness for job-market challenges. During the Q&A session, attendees asked about the challenges Issa faced early in his career path and how those experiences later helped him establish his own company in the field of programming.
نهار الثلاثاء الواقع في 9 ديسمبر 2025 نظمت كلية إدارة الاعمال قسم المعلوماتية الادارية في الجامعة اللبنانية الدولية -فرع صيدا جلسة مميزة وغنية بالاستراتيجيات العملية للنمو المهني قدمها كل من الاستاذ محمد صقر والاستاذ شادي عسيران، مسلّطا الضوء على تأثير التحوّل الرقمي والطلب المتزايد على المهارات التقنية. وأكدا على أهمية بناء المعرفة الرقمية في مجالات البيانات والذكاء الاصطناعي والأتمتة، إلى جانب وضع أهداف واضحة، والبحث عن الإرشاد المهني، والتخطيط الاستباقي للرؤية المهنية على المدى القصير والطويل. كما شاركا الحضور رؤى حول التركيز على المهام ذات الأثر العالي عبر مبدأ 80/20، وبناء ملف مهني قوي يعكس إنجازات واقعية، إضافة إلى تحقيق التوازن بين المهارات الصلبة والناعمة—وخاصة مهارات التواصل والذكاء العاطفي كعوامل أساسية للقيادة والتقدم. واختُتمت الجلسة بخطة عمل تدعو إلى التعلّم المستمر، والمرونة، وبناء شبكات مهنية استراتيجية. خلال فقرة الأسئلة، طرح الحاضرون تساؤلات حول التحديات التي واجهه السيد عسيران في بداية مسيرته المهنية وكيف قادته تلك التجارب لاحقًا إلى تأسيس شركته الخاصة في مجال البرمجيات.

December 10, 2025The school of Business-Finance Department at Lebanese International University (LIU), Saida Campus, organized a successful seminar on December 10, 2025 titled “From Tradition to Transformation… The Global Shift toward Digital Banking”.
The event opened with a speech delivered by Ms. Rim Shareef from the Finance Department, in which she emphasized that the banking sector is entering a phase of significant change and development, noting that job opportunities remain available and are expected to grow as banks expand their digital services and adopt modern technologies. A professional team from Bank Audi also delivered a comprehensive presentation highlighting the current developments in the sector, with a particular focus on Neobanks, which rely on more flexible and innovative operating models and play a key role in reshaping banking services and enhancing customer experience. The Finance Department extended its appreciation to the university administration for its continued support and reaffirmed its commitment to organizing further specialized events that strengthen students’ connection to the financial industry and future job markets.
نظّمت كلية ادارة الاعمال- قسم المالية في الجامعة اللبنانية الدولية، فرع صيدا، ندوة ناجحة بتاريخ 10 كانون الأوّل 2025 تحت عنوان " من التقليد الى التحول...التحول العالمي نحو الخدمات المصرفية الرقمية".
افتُتحت الندوة بكلمة قدّمتها الأستاذة ريم الشريف من قسم المالية، حيث شدّدت على أنّ القطاع المصرفي مقبل على مرحلة من التغيير والتطوّر، وأنّ فرص العمل ما زالت متاحة وستزداد مع توسّع الخدمات الرقمية واعتماد التقنيات الحديثة في العمل المصرفي. كما قدّم الفريق المهني من بنك عوده عرضاً شاملاً تناول التطوّرات الراهنة في القطاع، مع تركيز خاص على النيو بنك Neo Banks)) الذي يعتمد على نماذج تشغيل أكثر مرونة وابتكارا ودوره في إعادة تشكيل الخدمات المصرفية وتطوير تجربة العملاء. وفي ختام الندوة، توجّه قسم المالية بالشكر لإدارة الجامعة على دعمها، مؤكداً التزامه بمواصلة تنظيم فعاليات متخصّصة تعزّز صلة الطلاب بالقطاع المالي وأسواق العمل المستقبلية.
اقامت كلية الفنون في الجامعة اللبنانية الدولية فرع النبطية حفل توزيع جوائز مهرجان 60 Sec Film Festival نظمت الجامعة اللبنانية الدولية –كلية العلوم والفنون- فرع النبطية ، مهرجان الأفلام الاول" فيلم في دقيقة" في حرم الجامعة، حضر المهرجان الهيئة الادارية والتعليمية في الفرع، وتألفت لجنة الحكم من المنتج الاستاذ بلال زعرور، الاستاذ منير كسرواني، والمخرج علي حرب. شارك في المهرجان أربعون فيلماً وفازت بالجائزة الآولى، هي عبارة رحلة الى تركيا تقدمة سفريات العجوز، الطالبة فاطمة عطية.
