2017-2018: International Arab Conference on Quality Assurance in Higher Education (IACQA)
The Lebanese International University organized the Eighth International Arab Conference on Quality Assurance in Higher Education (IACQA' 2018) in the Arab World. Held at LIU, Bekaa Campus, Khyara, Lebanon for four days on April, 2018, the conference included the attendance of authorities in the field of Education and QA, as well as important keynote speakers:
This conference, with more than 350 attendees, brought the best minds in education to provide proven and practical strategies, connect members with both peers and experts to reinvigorate practice through a rich and varied program. The IACQA' 2018, throughout the 115 presentations that occurred over the course of the 4-days conference, mainly targeted the need to develop the quality of higher education as well as enhance the ability of universities to acquire the modern properties of innovation and creativity, which have become a requirement of this new age of information and globalization.
2018-2019: International Arab Conference on Quality Assurance in Higher Education (IACQA)
In keeping up with LIU’s commitment to developing the capacities of its academic stakeholders, the Lebanese International University launched on April 2019 the ninth International Arab Conference on Quality Assurance in Higher Education (IACQA’ 2019) as a forum for scientists, researchers, and experts to present their latest research, results, ideas, developments, and applications in all areas of quality assurance in higher education. During the three-day conference, the committee, LIU council, and esteemed speakers all joined efforts to achieve the aim of crystallizing an integrated Arab understanding of the quality of university performance and shedding light on the mechanics to develop it. IACQA’2019 involved 75 presentations with more than 150 local and international attendees, which included contributed papers and state-of-the-art lectures by the invited keynote speakers, namely:
