As a student at the Lebanese International University Faculty of Business Administration, I was fortunate to be selected for an exchange program with Rovira y Virgili University in Spain. The preparation process for this trip was a bit daunting, but with the help of the International Office and the amazing faculty at LIU, everything went smoothly in the end. The International Office also helped me obtain a student ID card. I have been fortunate to meet a diverse group of international students who want to help each other. The friendship between the international students was truly wonderful. Being an international student can be challenging, especially in a new country with a different language and culture. The professors are approachable and helpful, especially for international students who need additional support in adjusting to a new environment. It was a truly fulfilling experience.
However, studying abroad is a great opportunity to decide your life path. This experience opened me to new perspectives on life, made me more adaptable, and gave me a global perspective. My stay in Spain expanded my knowledge of different customs and traditions, improved my communication skills, and made me a valuable asset to society. It has given me the opportunity to meet people from different cultural backgrounds, make friends, learn new skills and gain relevant experience.
In summary, studying abroad is an experience not to be missed. This opportunity allowed me to meet new people, learn new concepts, and become a better version of myself. I will forever be grateful for this opportunity and the valuable lessons it brought to my life. I am deeply grateful to LIU for giving me such a wonderful experience.
