The Office of International Relations supports LIU’s internationalization strategy by coordinating global partnerships, mobility opportunities, international academic activities, and intercultural engagement across the University.
As part of LIU’s strategic plan toward internationalization (2021–2025), the Office of International Relations will be a leading international office recognized for its inclusive and intercultural excellence in internationalization, responsibility for global citizenship, and commitment to promoting LIU’s international image and research culture through key partnerships and mobility opportunities.
The OIR believes in the importance of connecting LIU’s community with the internationalized world through agreements and programs in regional South–South and international North–South areas, as well as across the Atlantic.
The Office of International Relations at LIU is dedicated to promoting international initiatives and activities by unifying the internationalization efforts of all schools across the University’s nine campuses and by maintaining international partnerships.
