The Center of Excellence for Research and Graduate Studies (CERGS) promotes faculty and student research, supports graduate education, and strengthens the research culture of the Lebanese International University.
The Center of Excellence for Research and Graduate Studies is responsible for promoting faculty and student research, managing units involved in grant solicitation and management, and overseeing regulatory compliance associated with research.
CERGS provides leadership in promoting the University’s research culture by increasing the visibility and recognition of faculty members and students and by fostering an environment conducive to research and the creation of knowledge.
Promote and support research activities undertaken by faculty members and students throughout the University.
Manage the units responsible for grant solicitation, research-funding opportunities, and grant administration.
Support the regulatory, ethical, and institutional compliance requirements associated with University research.
CERGS works closely with School Research Leaders (SRLs) to advance the quality of research and promote the national and global visibility of each School’s programmes.
Through this collaborative structure, research leadership is coordinated across the University, schools, departments, research centres, laboratories, and research groups.
CERGS serves as a liaison among the graduate student body, graduate faculty members, and graduate-school administration, helping coordinate communication, academic support, planning, and graduate education activities.
