The international dimension of Lebanon and our partner institution – Erasmus lecture

Last week, as part of Erasmus + training mobility, we hosted a vice-dean from Lebanese International University (LIU), Go. Waad Sleiman. Among other things, she presented to our students the history of Lebanon and the international dimension of the LIU partner institution.

Lebanese International University has campuses throughout Lebanon, in addition to Beirut in Tripoli, Akka, Mount Lebanon, etc .. LIU has in its international vision defined international excellence, responsibility for global citizenship, and responsibility for the international image and culture of research. All of this, however, is in line with its basic vision of becoming recognizable as Lebanon’s leading cohesive transnational educational institution. Mrs. Sleiman points out that despite the problems plaguing Lebanese (past wars, anti-government protests, and the recent Beirut explosion), they remain positive and enjoy life.

Mrs. Sleiman also met with the leadership of the ISSBS, where they presented past cooperation and defined plans under the new Erasmus program 2021-2027.
