Online Education without Social Distance: Challenges for Internationalisation and Culture of Peace
LIU-SoED participated and presented in the International online "Conference on Challenges for Internationalisation and Culture of Peace" virtually hosted by Pegaso International Malta and UNESCO Chair in Bioethics, European Center for Bioethics and Quality of Life, with technical support by Dermol Digital Business Solutions, Slovenia on October 23-24 , 2020.
The 2020 PIC International Online Conference aimed to encourage discussion about topics related to Education and Digital Society. It challenged the topics of multicultural societies also from the aspects of economy and coexistence, especially in the EuroMed region. The rationale for the conference assumes that digital technologies act as a relevant factor of education, quality of life as well as economic prosperity, especially in the context of COVID-19 pandemics.
The rationale was to have PhD students, young researchers, academics, as well as practitioners from different countries to discuss current issues in the area of social science. The conference followed an interdisciplinary approach focusing mainly on the topics of education, e-learning, law, business, economy, social inclusion as well as sustainable development.
