As part of the MED2IaH project, the Lebanese International University organized a workshop in Bekaa Campus.

In the upcoming months, LIU will be organizing similar activities across all campuses. The aim of these activities is to raise awareness among LIU students about different cultures around the world.

Description and Procedure of the Activity:
Students brought a book they have read and has taught them about the people, traditions, and beliefs of the culture represented in the book. They each gave a book talk about their book highlighting what it has taught them about that culture and reflecting on how it is similar or different from our culture. They also talked about the value of reading about other cultures and what this has added to them as individuals.
