The Center of Excellence for Research and Graduate Studies (CERGS) is responsible for promoting faculty and student research, managing units involved in grant solicitation and management, and regulatory compliance associated with research. The CERGS provides leadership in promoting University’s research culture by increasing the visibility and the recognition of faculty and students and by fostering an environment conducive to research and the creation of knowledge. The CERGS works closely with the Schools Research Leaders (SRL) to advance the quality of the research and promote the national and global visibility of the School's programs. The CERGS serves as a liaison among the graduate student body, the graduate faculty, and the graduate schools administration. The work of the CERGS includes leadership, scholarship promotion, mentoring, administration, and planning.
