VISION

The vision of the Center of Excellence for Research and Graduate Studies (CERGS) at the Lebanese International University (LIU) is to lead the national research agenda across the country and be heavily involved in international research activities. The Center will promote faculty and student research and the University’s research culture by increasing the visibility and the recognition of faculty and students and by fostering an environment conducive to research and the creation of knowledge. Also, the Center enables diverse graduate and professional students and graduate faculty to thrive intellectually and professionally and achieve academic success.

   MISSION

The mission of the Center of Excellence for Research and Graduate Studies (CERGS) at the Lebanese International University (LIU) is to support faculty members and students to become research active individuals and to support LIU developing research active curriculum, undertaking research which both enhances the learning experience of students, and delivers influence on economy, society, culture, public policy or services, health, environment, and quality of life. Also, The Center enriches the rational life of the university by enabling graduate and professional students to undertake scholarly study and advanced research and prepare for professional work.
